Buffalo, N.Y. - The Buffalo Sabres today announced an updated training camp schedule for the week of September 12-19. The full camp gets underway on Saturday, September 12 when the veterans report to HSBC Arena at 8 a.m.

A total of 53 players, including 15 who suited up for the Pirates last season, are currently scheduled to attend this year's camp -- 31 forwards, 18 defensemen and 4 goaltenders.

The Portland Pirates will begin tuning up for the 2009-10 season on Saturday, September 26th when they take on the Lowell Devils at 5 p.m. at the Portland Ice Arena. The game will be the first of two pre-season contests at the Portland Ice Arena. The Pirates will meet the the University of New Brunswick Reds on Wednesday, September 30th at 7 p.m.
