Lewiston, ME– The Portland Pirates announced today that fan voting for the 2013-14 Team Awards, presented by Creative Awards is now underway. Last year’s recipient was Andy Miele, with Pirates Hall of Famers Jason Christie (twice), and Kevin Kaminski also receiving the award during their playing careers. Pirates legend Mel Angelstad twice won the award as well.
The Pirates’ Most Valuable Player Award is determined by fan vote and is given to the player deemed the most valuable to the team by the Pirates’ fans.
