Coyotes Assign Mike Lee to Gwinnett

Saco, Maine – Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Phoenix Coyotes have assigned goaltender Mike Lee from the Portland Pirates to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

Lee started two games for the Pirates this season, posting an 0-2 record with a 3.61 goals against average and a .879 save percentage. The 23 year old native of Roseau, MN spent most of the 2012-13 season with Gwinnett, where he went 14-12-1 with a 2.35 goals against average and a .911 save percentage. Lee was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 3rd round (91st overall) of the 2009 NHL entry draft.

The Pirates get back to action on Friday at home as they look to even up the VIP Cup Series presented by VIP Tires and Service against the Manchester Monarchs.
