Coyotes Recall Mike Lee to Portland
Portland, Maine – Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Mike Lee from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.
The 6-foot-1, 190 pound Lee has had three stints with the Pirates this season. Lee has a 3-0-0-0 record with a 1.31 Goals Against Average and a .960 save percentage for Portland in 3 appearances for the Pirates. In his last appearance for the Pirates, Lee made 36 saves on 38 shots in a 3-2 victory over the Worcester Sharks on February 1st.
In 27 games with Gwinnett this season, Lee has posted a line of 14-11-1 with 2 shutouts with a 2.23 Goals Against Average and a .916 save percentage.
The 22-year-old native of Roseau, Minnesota was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in round 3 (#91 overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft
