Portland Pirates Reassign Evan Bloodoff to Gwinnett (ECHL), Release Bryce Lampman from PTO

Portland, Maine – Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Portland Pirates have reassigned forward Evan Bloodoff from the Portland Pirates to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL In addition, Treliving announced that defensemen Bryce Lampman has been released from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO) with the Pirates

Bloodoff, a 5-foot-11, 205 pound left wing, has appeared in 8 games with the Pirate this season, registering a +/- rating of -1 to go with 2 penalty minutes. In 33 games with Gwinnett this year, Bloodoff scored 12 goals and tallied 13 assists with 34 penalty minutes. The 22-year-old native of Castlegar, British Columbia was the Coyotes’ 6th choice (157th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.

Lampman appeared in 8 games for the Pirates after being signed to a PTO on January 11th. In 8 games with the Pirates, the 6-1, 200 pound defenseman from Rochester, Minnesota registered a +/- rating of -6. Lampman tallied 3 goals and 9 assists to go with 10 penalty minutes in 21 games for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL this season prior to signing with the Pirates.
