Portland, Maine – The Portland Pirates today announced the launch of their 20th Anniversary Passport Program, presented by Captain Sam’s Ice Cream shop and the Portland Downtown District. The Passport Program will run from February 1st to March 28th, 2013, and passport holders have the opportunity to win 2013-14 Season Tickets and Free Ice Cream for a year from Captain Sam’s Ice Cream in Portland!
Each Passport contains 10 deals from businesses within Portland’s Downtown District. This year’s participants include: Captain Sam’s Ice Cream (126 Commercial Street), White Cap Grille (154 Middle Street and Market Street), Guitar Grave ( 441 Congress Street), Gilbert’s Chowder House (92 Commercial Street), Head Games (116 Free Street), Longfellow Books (Monument Square), C5 Sports and Performance (Cumberland County Civic Center), Mexacali Blues (9 & 10 Moulton Street), Maine Squeeze (5.5 Moulton Street/28 Monument Square), and Union Street Parking Garage. For each offer redeemed, a stamp will be given on the passport. For every stamp collected, the passport can be redeemed for 1 $12 Main Deck Pirates Ticket ($6 savings). For every 5 offers redeemed, $10 off will be given for any 20th Anniversary Flex Pack served up by Gritty’s. If all 10 offers are redeemed, the passport holder will be entered to win two (2) 2013-13 Season Tickets from the Pirates as well as Free Ice Cream for a year from Captain Sam’s Ice Cream in Portland! Stamped passports must be turned into the Pirates office by March 28th, 2013 in order to be eligible for the grand prize.
The 20th Anniversary Passport will be handed out at Pirates games on February 1st and 2nd, with 3,000 fans receiving Passports upon their departure from the Cumberland County Civic Center. Portland’s Downtown District’s Portland On Ice winter celebrations conclude tomorrow, Saturday, February 2nd. A free ice sculpture carving demonstration will be held that day from noon – 2pm in Post Office Park. For more information visit portlandmaine.com.
