Alexandre Bolduc and David Rundblad named to the 2013 AHL All Star Classic Eastern Conference Team

Portland, Maine – The American Hockey League announced today that Portland Pirates Captain Alexandre Bolduc and Defenseman David Rundblad have been name to the AHL All Star Classic Eastern Conference team.
The 6-foot-2, 205 pound Bolduc, a center, is appearing in his first All Star game. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Bolduc has appeared in 34 games with the Pirates, leading the team in goals with 17 and points with 32. Bolduc is in his second season with the Pirates.
Rundblad, a 6 foot 3, 195 pound defenseman from Lycksele, Sweden, is in his first full AHL season with the Pirates. In 32 games with Portland, Rundblad has led the Pirates’ defensemen in scoring with a line of 6 goals and 17 assists. This is Rundblad’s first All Star selection, and he is one of the 12 rookies on All Star Classic rosters this year.
Beginning Friday and until Jan. 24, fans will have the opportunity to vote for the starting lineups for the 2013 AHL All-Star Game by visiting facebook.com/theahl and completing the official CCM AHL All-Star Fan Ballot. Voters will also be entered to win prizes of a team-signed 2013 AHL All-Star stick (two) and team-signed 2013 AHL All-Star commemorative programs (10).
