Portland, Maine – Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Scott Arnold from the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.
The 6-foot-2, 205 pound Arnold played in eight games for the Pirates, registering 2 assists as well as 11 penalty minutes. Arnold played in 33 games as a sophomore for Niagara University (AHA) last year, registering 10-8-18 before signing with the Coyotes.
The 23-year-old native of Pointe-Claire, Quebec was signed by the Phoenix Coyotes as an undrafted free agent.
