  • Boy Scouts Night: The Portland Pirates and the Pine Tree Council of the Boy Scouts of America would like to welcome back Boy Scouts as well as their families and friends to a special Boy Scout Night to welcome all scout troops!
  • All tickets for Boy Scouts, family and friends, are just $12.00 each, and all Boy Scouts attending the game will receive a commemorative Portland Pirates Scout Night scout patch!  Boy Scouts are also encouraged to wear their scout uniform to the game.

  • “A Day of Hockey, Presented by Irving Oil.”  On Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 the Pirates will hold “A Day of Hockey”, presented by Irving Oil, to benefit The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. This will be in conjunction with “Try Hockey For Free Day” that takes place across America this same day. The night before will be Opening Night in Portland. Get the taste of hockey Friday night with our opening ceremonies and then grab your skates on Saturday for our Day of Hockey!

Wednesday, November 14 vs. Worcester 7:00PM (Lewiston Androscoggin Bank Colisée)

  • Lewiston Chamber of Commerce and YPLAA Night #1: This season the Portland Pirates are extending an offer to all Androscoggin County Chamber members, family and friends the ability to purchase discounted tickets for select games this season.   • Fall Night of Champions: It’s the Pirates annual “Night of Champions” where we will be honoring sports teams which have earned championships during the fall and winter seasons at a Pirates home game. Last year, over 20 teams participated in the Night of Champions program throughout the state from 10 different sports and 4 classes throughout the fall and winter seasons. We will be offering the opportunity once again this year to any championship team in Maine for the 2012-2013 Season! The Championship teams will be recognized throughout the night for all their hard work and dedication for their respective sports.

The 10 people to be honored at this game were nominated and selected through UNUM’s Sixth Annual Maine Educators’ Hall of Fame, supported by the Portland Pirates.

  • Junior Achievement Night, Presented by Unum: For the 8th consecutive season, the Pirates are partnering with Casco Bay High School and Junior Achievement of Maine to host “Junior Achievement Night” at the Cumberland County Civic Center.  The Pirates will be working with local high school students to give them “real world” business experience.  The students will make sales presentations to local businesses, and will be assisting Pirates employees with game operations.

  • Youth Sports Night: It’s the Pirates 1st annual “Youth Sport Appreciation Night” where we will be honoring youth sport teams which will compete during the fall and winter seasons at a Pirates game played at the Lewiston Androscoggin Bank Colisée.  All members of the youth sport teams, as well as family and friends will be invited to enjoy the game and festivities.  Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for the specific game!

Sunday, February 24 vs. Manchester 4:00 PM (Cumberland County Civic Center)

  • LL Bean Kids day:  LL Bean has teamed up with the Pirates once again to bring this special day to the Civic Center.  As the presenter, LL Bean has generously donated 1,000 tickets to local youth programs and organizations to cheer on the Pirates as they face off against the rival Manchester Monarchs.  In addition, fans can have their picture taken with the LL Bean “Bootmobile” outside the Spring St. Entrance to the Civic Center!

  • Propel Night:  The Portland Pirates are proud to offer a full after hours PROPEL networking event at the Cumberland County Civic Center prior to the Wednesday, March 13th regular season home game vs. Adirondack Phantoms.  The Pirates PROPEL event will include a private venue, food and beverage, and event accommodations in the Penalty Box Grill for up to 200 members and the opportunity to play broomball on the Portland Pirates ice before the game!

  • Adopt A Dog Night presented by Camp Bow Wow: The 3rd annual  Adopt-A-Dog Night! .   • Electricity Maine has teamed up with the Portland Pirates to present The Power to Help Night on Friday, April 19th as they battle the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.  Electricity Maine will donate over 800 tickets to local, non-profit organizations right here in Maine as part of the night, highlighting their Power to Help Fund  brining awareness to groups such as KidsPeace, St. Mary’s Health System, Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice and Good Shepherd Food Bank.   • Winter Night of Champions: It’s the Pirates annual “Night of Champions” where we will be honoring sports teams which have earned championships during the fall and winter seasons at a Pirates home game. Last year, over 20 teams participated in the Night of Champions program throughout the state from 10 different sports and 4 classes throughout the fall and winter seasons. We will be offering the opportunity once again this year to any championship team in Maine for the 2012-2013 Season!
